PORT BOULEVARD CONSTRUCTION AT PORT OF MIAMI
Central Civil performed civil infrastructure work for Project 16 at the Port of Miami under a $4.0 million contract with Haskell Company as general contractor. The primary scope included construction of Port Boulevard — a new roadway serving the terminal — complete with storm drainage, injection wells, earthwork, high mast lighting, paving, and signage and pavement marking systems.
The project required coordination with active port operations throughout construction, with traffic management and site safety protocols maintained at all times. Injection well installation addressed stormwater management in Miami-Dade County's unique subsurface environment.
Project 16 reflects Central Civil's ability to deliver complete civil packages in active seaport environments, from earthwork and drainage through to final paving and site lighting.
