Project Overview
BUILDING THE BASE FOR TERMINAL B
Central Civil performed the complete horizontal construction package for Norwegian Cruise Line's Terminal B at PortMiami — a 190,000 square foot LEED Gold certified facility with a Nautilus-inspired architectural design. The scope included all site utilities, earthwork, underground infrastructure, and site preparation required to deliver the terminal to vertical construction ready.
The project required precise coordination with PortMiami operations to maintain active port traffic throughout construction. Site utility work included water, sewer, storm drainage, and fire suppression systems, with all work performed to the environmental and sustainability standards required for LEED Gold certification.
Terminal B stands as one of PortMiami's most architecturally distinctive facilities, and Central Civil's horizontal construction work established the infrastructure foundation for the entire project.
