Project Overview

ARTERIAL RECONSTRUCTION ALONG SR 823

Central Civil served as prime contractor on the $20.8 million SR 823 / NW 57th Avenue reconstruction project for FDOT. The scope included complete removal and reconstruction of the roadway from West 65th Street to West 84th Street, along with intersection improvements at NW 138th Street — a two-year construction program spanning January 2015 through May 2017.

Work included full pavement reconstruction, storm drainage, underground utilities, curbing, walks, signalization, and lighting along one of Miami-Dade's primary arterial corridors. The project was constructed with continuous traffic maintenance in a dense urban environment.

As prime contractor, Central Civil self-performed the full civil scope, reflecting the firm's capacity to deliver complete arterial reconstruction projects in South Florida's most challenging urban settings.
