MIA West Side Retention/Detention Pond

MIA Employee Parking Lot Phase I

Scope of work: Project highlights consisted of relocating NW 14th Street to the south and rename the existing road to NW 15th Street. A new NW 13th Street, NW 45th Avenue and NW 43rd Place was constructed. The project connected the FDOT SR 836/NW 45th Avenue ramp. Two new secured entrances with Guard Booths were constructed for the employee parking lot. Parking space was increased and security enhanced. In addition to earthwork, drainage, signal, lighting and paving, we installed approximately 2000 feet of 16" Forcemain.

Scope of work: Project highlights include an overall project area of 15,000 acres, the EAA A-1 Flow Equalization (FEB) is designed to capture and store peak stormwater flows during the wet season or heavy rainfall events. The project encompasses installation of 2.1 million Cubic Yards of fill to construct 21 miles of levee, degrading 3.1 million Cubic Yards of muck, backfilling 113 miles of agricultural canals and construction of 14 gated water control structures.

Scope of work: Project highlights include the complete design and construction of Florida Turnpike and local roads to increase operational capacity to provide for future travel demand, improve safety, address roadway and structural deficiencies and enhance overall traffic improvements by widening northbound and southbound Homestead Extension to the Florida Turnpike (HEFT) SR 821 an additional lane toward the median, a new north bound entrance ramp to SR 821 from Campbell Drive, widening southbound exit ramp from SR 821 to Campbell Drive. The proposed improvements also include improvements to Campbell Drive. Installation of Sound Wall, drainage, signalization, pier protect, bridge retrofit handrails, landscaping, asphalt improvements.

Scope of work: Project highlights include the complete design and construction of drainage improvements, watermain, roadway and hardscape of Lower North Bay Rd. from Chase Ave. to 20th Ave. and Michigan Ave. Project included over 6000' of drainage culverts up to 42", over 80 drainage structures and large dual pump station with ocean outfall and the replacement of over 7000' of water mains and 150 domestic services. Complete roadway reconstruction and improvements to the R/W including landscaping and lighting.
